What better way to begin your new year than to have your pictures and memories documented in one of our custom scrapbooks? Just give us a cd with your 2007 pictures, fill out the questionnaire so we know what you like (and what you don't) and we'll create unique and original scrapbook pages - enough to fill an album (included). And then you can cross "do something with all my pictures" off your list.

If you are interested in a MEMIbook for gift-giving, please get in contact with us soon. We'll need at least one month from the day we receive your pictures to complete your book.
We have gift certificates in the form of mini books (2x2), to give the recipient a little taste of what they can expect their album to look like.

Late again I'm afraid. But it was the first day of school here so please have mercy...and it's still Monday!
What was your favorite part of "back to school" days?
Mel: Definitely new school supplies. I still like them and I still buy them. I have fond memories of my trapper keeper in middle school. Although it wasn't very sturdy.

As we do our seasonal purge of clothes, toys, and other items, we thought we should be mindful of our consumption. And be purposeful in what we choose to bring into our homes.

For those of you who are sick of looking at our picture. Sorry. It is the only picture we have together. Taken by Mel's 8 year old son, no less.
Which reminds us. If you don't have any pictures of you with your friends. Take some. Not because you will forget what they look like tomorrow. But one day many years from now, they will be nice to have. Mel has been working on a scrapbook of her mother's pictures from the 40s, 50s and 60s. Her mom still has the same friends and it is really neat to see their pictures through the years.
So the next time you see us, in pictures, it won't be another from the Nordstrom Cafe. Until then...say cheese.

Every Monday, (or if we're late like today - Tuesday) we'll post some questions to get your memory moving. At best - you'll be able to write your autobiography. Or even better- you'll have some things written down when you hire us!

What was the first concert you attended?
Who were you with?
Mel's 1st album was Blondie- Eat to the Beat; fave song: Dreamin', 1st concert must have been Shaun Cassidy, 2nd concert was either the GoGos or Duran Duran?, and I definitely went to all of those with cousin Trish.
Miji's 1st album was the Grease soundtrack; fave song: Summer Lovin; 1st concert: R.E.M. at William & Mary c.1987; she remembers what she was wearing, not who she was with. No surprise there.

Please have a look at our photo albums. We find inspiration in fashion, pop culture, humour, architecture, home interiors, and travel. Our everday lives and all that it entails, provides our greatest source of inspiration. We love to find items with history, recycled and well-loved treasures. If we can, we incorporate these items into our art and as a result every layout will be handmade with a unique design.
